Public bug reported: I recently bought a logitech diNovo mini wireless keyboard/mouse. It's bluetooth but it comes with a small USB thing that it can use instead of bluetooth. In hardy, the keyboard works fine but the mouse does not. It turns out this is easily fixable by adding one line in the usbhid module source or by adding a line to /etc/modprobe.d/options
More information is available in these places: http://home.att.net/~Tom.Horsley/mini.html http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=727505 http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.usb.general/3095 The last URL contains a patch to fix the problem. It can also be fixed by adding options usbhid quirks=0x046d:0xc71f:0x00080000 to /etc/modprobe.d/options, and then running "sudo update-initramfs -u" and restarting the computer. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- diNovo Mini mouse does not work (with solution) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241120 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
