The problem is that emesene is using desktop.py to open links, which
uses gnome-open if the user is using GNOME.
gnome-open uses gnome-vfs, and since gnome-vfs 1:2.22.0-4, text/html is
a subclass of text/plain, and text/plain is opened in a text editor so
text/html is now too.

I don't think this is a emesene problem. If you double click in a html
file from nautilus, what does it open, gedit or a browser?
If you right click it, go to Properties-Open with, what is selected
there?
