I can confirm the behaviour exactly as described.

I have discovered one other aspect: after trying to assign a manual
configuration to eth0 as described above, if you then disable and then
re-enable the interface it comes up OK. I'

And there are two bugs:
First bug:
- In "eth0 --> Config the interface", enable "Automatic configuration" instead
of "Manual". Enable too "x Enable when the computer start", Press "OK", apply
the changes and exit the app.
- Go to the app again, and choose "eth0 --> Config the interface". Look at
KNetworkManager --> Manual configuration... --> eth0 --> Config the
interface... --> Manual:
- IP: 192.168.1.101
- Mask: 255.255.255.0
x Enable when the computer start --> OK.
Rutes:
- IP: 192.168.1.1
- Dispositive: eth0
Apply --> OK.
