Could you copy the error from console when you try to launch it ?

Aha! Here's what happened, Marco.
grant...@pore:~$ apport-collect -p apport 242085
Logging into Launchpad... You have to allow Change anything privileges.
Downloading bug information...
The authorization page:

should be opening
It's working fine. I got the same result. Could you try to run:
(This one should not appear anything from the console)
$ /usr/share/apport/apport-gtk
and after:
(This one should work from console)
$ /usr/share/apport/apport-gtk -f
Suart, could you do the same ?
If someone get errors
Will those errors be caught and handled appropriately?
The apport-gtk returned nothing. Using -f I was given a dialog box:

Hiya,
I still can't get apport to launch on either of my Hardy-based systems. If
there's a tool change with Karmic and it works then I guess that's the easy
answer - for me anyway!
Thanks for the help and support - it's what makes Ubuntu great.

I didn't file the bug initially. I hope Stuart replies. Here's my
current take on it.
I am using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic and have apport, apport-gtk and python-
apport versions 1.8.2-0ubuntu1. They do not launch when I try them from
a command line.
