Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 Kernel: 2.6.24-18-generic #1 SMP Wed May 28 20:27:26 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
I went to Power Management and enabled Suspend after 11 minutes. I let the laptop go into suspend. Whenever I try to resume from suspend, I get a black screen with text, similar to what old-school DOS looks like. Except the text is a bunch of info that I have no clue what it's referring to. But it stays on that screen and I have to restart the laptop manually. I went into the pm.suspend log and it had something about a segmentation fault and that ath_pci failed to unload. I took some pictures of the screen also. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- System crashes on resume from suspend/hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/243022 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
