Binary package hint: hwdb-client
I open the Hardware Testing app, and get the opening page with a Next
button. I click the button, and a progress bar appears saying it's
"building report." There's a field at the bottom with a place to enter
my launchpad email. It says it's going to send several things to the
server, but it has never asked me anything else. No opportunity to test
the network, sound, etc.
This is a Hewlett Packard Pavilion 8754c desktop system, 800 Mhz Pentium
III processor, with 256Mb RAM and a 30-gig hard drive.
I have not found any way to see the report that it has assembled or a
way to invoke the tests it mentioned on the first screen.
