From 2.6.24-27.68 change log I noticed that this bug was fixed with kernel 2.6.24-27.65. See bug #487010 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/487010 for more info. In other words IPv6 netfilter modules are now available at least with the i686 -virtual kernel. -- ipv6 netfilter
