aren't really a bug and require more discussion, which should be done on
an appropriate mailing list or forum.

start for determining which mailing list to use,
Romain, no. I think it would be better prefer to also have a link on
the Help menu. That's because I bet many users look only on the Help
menu, and not also on the splash screen, for help.
