Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue

Using Kubuntu 8.04.1:
I plug camera HP Photosmart E427, icon appears in desktop and a window is
displayed to can browse the camera, but file manager cannot open the content.
In Ubuntu also can be mounted!
