Hi!
The first image is of when it gets stuck during boot, the second one is
what appears after ~30 sec. from getting stucked.
I did try blaklisting "b44", but it gives me the same error. Is "b44"
the exact name of the module?

Can you attach a digital photo of the errors you are seeing. I'm also
curious if you try to blacklist the b44 driver if that helps at all.

Hi,
I downloaded kernel image 2.6.27 and installed it on Hardy (as I'm back
using it due to these kind of problems), but this problem still
persists.
BTW, even with Hardy kernel 2.6.19 there's the same problem. The last
kernel usable for me was 2.6.18.

upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
