For me, the problem comes up when launching firefox while running a sound application (Audacious or last.fm player); in this case, i close the sound appl and restart firefox, and it loads flash animations again. I think it is a flash plugin problem against the sound system of ubuntu. -- Saluti,

I also experienced this issue on 64 bit hardy. I'm glad to find a bug on the issue, it's really quite annoying to restart Firefox every few hours. Earlier in the week, I built my own packages to replace hardy's flashplugin-nonfree and nspluginwrapper, and the issue seems to have gone away.

I've read that the 1.1.0 version of ndiswrapper restarts the plugin once it crashes and you refresh the page. Although this doesn't provide a real solution to the problem at least it will prevent having to restart the whole browser which can be annoying if you have a lot of open windows and
