The installer now writes /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1
and /etc/hostname
which is correct.

The only thing you might want to add is "craic" as an alias for
craic.staff.gcd.ie.
Then you can make "craic" your system hostname.
echo "craic" > /etc/hostname
hostname --file /etc/hostname
