Public bug reported: Binary package hint: at-spi
1) Installed libaccess-bridge-java 2) It broke Orca (alt tab no longer worked) so I ctrl alt backspaced 3) Orca worked for a bit and then crapped out, so I apt-get removed libaccess-bridge-java and ctrl alt backspaced 4) Now between GDM login and Gnome start I get an inaccessible dialog (no audio, no keyboard navigation) saying "Accessibility features have been requested for this session, make sure AT-SPI is installed" or thereabouts. This is awful UI design! How is a blind person who has requested accessibility going to be able to get past that screen? This essential disables login to Gnome for the user who can't see the screen. ** Affects: at-spi (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- libaccess-bridge-java causes inaccessible AT-SPI dialog to pop up on gnome start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/249570 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
