I am an android developer as well as an ubuntu developer and am working on getting android apps integrated into gnome and ubuntu. I rely on emdebian-tools and I unfortunately have to rely on debian instead of my preferred os/ubuntu. This is my official request to get emdebian back on ubuntu.

I built a cross compiler and used apt-cross to cross compile the necessary dependencies using a sources.list file for Debian - they sit quite happily alongside the rest of the Ubuntu system.
