While you are about it, how about changing that dreadful colour scheme?
Black on dark blue with glaring white highlights so that my eyes are
defeated by the extreme contrast are NO encouragement to explore
further.
It takes me much longer to first find the relevant paragraph and then to
read it
What are you talking about? The Xubuntu website has black text on a
white background.

As the comment by Tony was irrelevant to this bug, I've mailed him
directly asking him more specific information on the browser he is
using, and whether the problem can be reproduced with a (greatly) CSS-
standards-compliant browser.
The problem described exists in IE and is known. It will be
