I've got the exact same issue, and I've tried the same things as the author without success. A couple of hours ago firefox 3 started up in about 5 seconds, and now it's at 5 minutes. Firefox 2 seems to run in an acceptable time, but not 3. -- firefox not working (extremely slow) https://bugs.laun
