Trying to reproduce situation using intel driver. Wallpaper change doesn't make xorg memory usage grow, but after few hours of work xorg uses 2-3 times more memory, than after login (when all startup apps loaded). I observed even worse behavior with fglrx driver which was caused by x64 sun jre

I've found out! It's definitely a compiz issue. While changing desktop wallpapers and compiz turned on, there is a memory leak as I explained in my first post here. As soon as I disable compiz and change the wallpaper, all leaked memory is freed and Xorg's memory usage normalizes. Then, if I

Ooops. I'm sorry. I did not notice Bryce's message. My fault. I'm attaching all the requested files to this post. I think there is nothing customized in my xorg.conf, but I'm attaching it just in case. Also, there seems to be no specific output in the Xorg.0.log file after the desktop is changed.
