I have a Thinkpad T61. I installed gutsy where suspend worked
flawlessly. I upgraded to Intrepid and now the following occurs.

Suspend-to-RAM from the laptop-battery-icon menu works as it should,
well almost. The machine sleeps but it takes a bit longer than it did in
gutsy. On resume a large (maybe 50ish px wide) underscore character
flashes a few times in the top left and then the X session resumes.
Sometimes the machine also decides to beep.

Suspend-to-RAM using the bios key suspends pretty quickly as it should,
but on result the graphics card doesn't seem to initialize properly.
Network looks like it comes back up although I haven't tried logging in
remotely.
