Public bug reported: I've never requested a new package to be added to ubuntu before, so please guide me along in this process.
# lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release: 8.04 Package's website: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/lrzip/ I tried packaging it on my system, and it seems to work well. I am not very familiar with the .deb packages, but I did my best: http://www.myecubby.com/lrzip/lrzip_0.23.tar.gz http://www.myecubby.com/lrzip/lrzip_0.23_i386.deb lrzip did an excellent job compressing my very large files, so I thought other ubuntu users may benefit from it, too. If possible, could you please also direct me to documentation about how to correctly package new packages and report bugs so that the new packages may eventually end up in ubuntu/debian? Thanks!
