Public bug reported: Binary package hint: wine
If the user has no ~/.wine directory, and they run Wine somehow (eg double clicking an exe or msi file), Wine is supposed to setup the folder for them. Sometimes this process fails, and it looks like nothing happened. Or, sometimes the process just takes a long while, so the user clicks again and again, and then things start to break. We need to show some kind of first run "Please wait while Wine sets up your virtual Windows drive" message on first run. ** Affects: wine (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Status: Triaged ** Changed in: wine (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist Status: New => Triaged -- wineprefixcreate should display a "setting up" message during first run https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/255671 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
