This happened to me as well, minus the theme and x-www-browser parts:
Selecting previously deselected package zdesktop.
(Reading database ... 115448 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking zdesktop (from .../zdesktop_0.90.1249beta-hardy1_i386.deb) ...

Hi Ivan,
For some reason, x-www-browser isn't running properly. (we popup to a
registration page by default)
You can update x-www-browser to use a different web browser by running:
update-alternatives --config x-www-browser
Then select a different browser. Sorry for the problems.
