Simon, thanks for the patch. Once Debian Lenny has been released I will
integrate it in the Debian package.
Right now I don't remember why the package installs the rules file into
/etc/udev instead of /etc/udev/rules.d and does this symlink mess up. I
guess it is owed to early udev versions, so
The attached debdiff fixes this issue by installing the file directly to
/etc/udev/rules.d/ and not creating a link.
