It is working well on a FS a1650g, but if after I change the mac address of the
wireless card it not connecting ...
The ifconfig show as well, but not working.
Any idea ?

Who is going to fix this problem with the hotkeys and wireless for Amilo
1718 and 1650 users ? if the kernel team have reassigned it to the
module-init-tools team and they think it should be done in the kernel
???

It is not normal to add specific module load entries for modules of this
kind to the distro as a whole, specific machine quirks do not normally
affect what is install. If it did the disk would not be generic if
moved to another machine. Normally these kinds of modules are keyed to
the hardware
acer-wmi does not provide hotkey pooling support as in the acerhk case.
I made an attempt to add hotkey pooling support to the acer-wmi code but it
failed.
acer-wmi can be used to auto-activate wireless led on startup - which can be a
replacement to the acerhk wireless on/off button support.
Also in Acer Aspire 5020 series, acerhk module should be loaded by
default.
modprobe acerhk
(well, adding acerhk into /etc/modules)
Would be nice also if after loading the module, wireless is
automatically activated:
echo 1 /proc/driver/acerhk/wirelessled
(I use it at /etc/rc.local, I don't
(lspci from last post)
