Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
On Intrepid alpha, it is possible to set a custom MTU. In for example the edit gui for auto eth0 the default MTU size is automatic. When a user populates the field to 1492 which is a valid field population the GUI accepts the value but actually fails to implement it. If the user manually does a /etc/init.d/networking stop and start and then queries the terminal via sudo ifconfig eth0 it is seen that the MTU has once again been reset to 1500 instead of 1492. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- NM 0.7 Fails To Set Custom MTU https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258743 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
