I am using Hardy Heron 32 bit version.

I have Telugu language installed on my computer. I have set it to switch
between English and Telugu by using CTRL+Space. When I put into Ubuntu
the regular way with my default language (English), I can change between
Telugu/English with no problems and it works flawlessly in all my
software packages.

The problem comes when I change the language at the bootscreen to Telugu
so that the menus and such are all in Telugu. At this point I type in
English by default (which I prefer) but I can't change to Telugu with
CNTRL+Space any more. I also don't have the language keyboard in the top
right that I see in regular English boot which allows me to switch to
Telugu also.
