Thank you Bastien. Could there not be a differently coloured bar at the
side, which would pop out (on mouse click) to become the side menu ? I can
see the point about usability re: play button, but as it is currently the
arrow makes little sense.

That's what we used to have before, in a normal button, and it didn't work out
well. The button is now a toggle, and the arrow is pointed in the direction of
where the sidebar would show up.
If they re open the bug we should re open it too, thanks.
