I can browse the web and get to sites without problems
when it comes to download and install
windows used to give achoice of save file or open the file
oppening the file would then give the run boxes
but Ubuntu just goes to download and open

Can you please describe precisely what the symptom is? Are you unable
to browse to web sites using Firefox on the 8.04.1 desktop cd?
