Today I could succeeded in installing GSview 4.8 using a RPM package.
But still I hope packaging GSview for ubuntu.

I also support the idea of adding gsview to ubuntu packages. In fact I have
gsview installed in Hardy and it works ok. If someone has any trouble
installing gsview I can help you.
