Here's a better way to specify the HAL FDI rules, so users can fairly
easily add new phones/modems.
Putting a commented-out example in /etc/hal/fdi would make it pretty
easy for someone with an unsupported modem to make HAL recognise it.

With the change to the HAL fdi data, the LG U990 was detected correctly
by NetworkManager and I was able to establish a working connection to
the Three network.
