I downloaded it a couple weeks ago. It should be fresh enough.

anything in there if it is behaving normally.

Here is the .xsession-errors log file. My monitor is also a Sony Trinitron
E240 if that matters. All these logs are in response to Caroline Ford's
requests after I made my initial comments on another bug:
