I don't see anything obviously wrong with the code, the only printf that
the logger does is
fprintf (event_logger->priv->file, "%s\n", str->str);
which looks fine to me. However, right before that it calls
check_file_stream() which causes a double-close() which corrupts memory
in many cases. I
I got this bug for the first time this morning, waking up to the Apport
alert (the crash must have taken place in the middle of the night). The
last time I updated was yesterday afternoon (I’m in Pacific time,
GMT-8), updating the package list before doing so. I’m using Intrepid.
