Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Nautilus's usability can be and should be improved.
1) Nautilus won't let to overwrite a file or link by Rename or Create Link
Option. Expected behavior would be to prompt user, if he want to overwrite a
file or link, now it only say i error/warning box it can't be done.
2) When I copy files to a folder (lets say bunch of icons or photos), it would
be great to have preview, and some basic (expandable) info (time, size, etc)
about the file that already exist and the new/being copied one. Because now it
only displays prompt with "overwrite? yes/no/cancel" style dialog box. I can't
be that hard to implement ;)
3) Easier rename of folders. Now I have to use context menu, it would be easier
just to click twice (like a double click, but with little pause between) or
have a keyboard shortcut, like Ctrl+LMouse
