I am running Hardy Heron 8.04 LTS. I will attach two screenshots: one of
before expanding the tree, one after. I have no idea about the Intrepid
version of Nautilus.

Which version of Ubuntu are you running? May you take an screenshot of
the issue? Does the same happens with the Intrepid version of Nautilus?
