After upgrading Intrepid (kernel 2.6.27-3 etc.) and a subsequent reboot
my screen displayed a very low colour resolution (4 bits?). I have
experienced the same problem two times before, but was unable to
reproduce the issue on purpose. My computer (HP nx9420) has an AMD/ATI
Mobility Radeon X1600, Desktop Effects (Compiz) are enabled. The display
driver in use is "radeon".
I have captured the screen using a digital camera since a screenshot
does not show the problem (as I found out the previous time this problem
occured).
