Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
I have a 802.11g WPA2 PSK-encrypted network. My laptop (running Ubuntu 8.04) doesn't get an IP address when it starts up. I have to do "sudo ifup --force eth1" in the console. uname -a: Linux mert1999 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Aug 20 22:56:21 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- iwl3945 Wireless does not connect without sudo ifup --force eth1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/271669 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
