Bug has been fixed in the 8.10 Final disc. Alpha versions of old

Is there any status on this issue? I still am unable to boot the
Intrepid live cd's and was able to boot and install Hardy without a
problem on the same laptop. FYI, I am also unable to boot Fedora 10
Alphas and the just released Mandriva 2009 Beta. Is it possible that
this is an issue with my l
Looks like all users with this bug are currently using a nVidia Card.

Have the same issue. Can boot 8.04 live cd fine on my laptop but 8.10
Alpha's will not boot (including Alpha 6). HP DV6910US Laptop.

Tried with 3 CD's in 3 Different PC's.
