Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
When the attached file is first loaded it does not crash immediately, but does after a moment of use. Usually it crashes after the cursor passes over a link or the scroll bar. On recovery it crashes immediately. It also crashes in Microsoft Word. The material in the file is mostly public material (Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals case), but some links and annotations may be subject to copyright. It is possible that some form of copy protection is involved. The file was constructed with a single cut and paste from a web site. I have experienced similar problems with other files constructed by cutting and pasting from that web site. It crashes in OO both on both Ubuntu and Windows 2000 and on Microsoft Word 2000 on Windows 2000.
