I'm testing the 0.8.5 version from the source. I'm repeating all the
ways to enter the root password. For now, I haven't had any problem.
I think it could be a duplicate of bug #262035 .

I saw the bug #262035 but I though the fix was relaesed.
I'll try to reproduce it with the next release.
