Here is my point of view on this. Eventually it would make sense to
either have some savers on the CD by default or at least hook a
notification into the configuration module, so that users can obtain
them more easily.

users. At least it is considered really basic stuff that should be
there. (K)ubuntu IS a desktop linux and should serve as such.
Why don't Kubuntu team select the cream of the crop from the
screensavers and include them. Or just
