Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
The latest version of compiz and compiz-fusion is 0.7.8 and got released on Sep 23 (http://lists.compiz- fusion.org/pipermail/dev/2008-September/001045.html). We currently carry a ~6 weeks old git snapshot. The new version is available in the intrepid compiz PPA at: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/compiz/ubuntu intrepid main I got positive reports from various testers and run it successfully on my system.
