This may only be a coincidence, but the last user to chime in here also
reported Bug #323710 which also concerns opening folders. I suggest
that the maintainers look for calls to Gnome Do and xdg-open.

I also received this error. I've created an echange account to sync my
evolution with my PDA, using the mail2web services in between.
My evolution is 2.24.1
My distribution is Ubuntu 8.10 with 2.6.27-7-server kernel

Checking or unchecking "copy content locally for offline operation" results in
error
