Thanks for the report, how many ram do you have? what's your cpu? maybe
brasero is using a lot of cpu can you check with top and report back?

I have 3 GB of RAM and a Core 2 Duo at 1.83 GHz. Brasero did seem to be
using a lot of CPU for just burning a CD, but there was also enough room
for my BOINC to keep running, so I don't think it was having a problem
getting processor time.
