kmon, Thanks for providing that .desktop file. I was looking for a solution to this problem as well. What you can do is edit as root the file "/usr/share/gnome-main-menu/system-items.xbel". Create a new bookmark section identical to the last in the file, and change the values accordingly. Thanks

This is the .desktop file that provides the missing functionality. I still don't know how to add it to the menu via gconf, so I've added with drag & drop from the applications menu selector. I've copied to /usr/share/applications/ I'm willing to create a path for this if someone can help me with s
