I think there were five files--but I don't precisely remember.
When you run a CD there are usually separate files for each cut or
song or piece.
Sometimes there are as many as 20 on one CD (e.g., particularly when they are
compilations of music recorded in the days of 78 RPMs).

do, where you click, what you get and what else you would expect? what
do you call cuts in the description?

days of needle-drop records.
what I am trying to decribe here is that the program often does not
recognize that there are, e.g.,
four selections, songs, whatever, within a CD file. So--suppose the
CD was of a Beethoven Sonata.
how many audio tracks are listed on this cd if you use it in a standard
drive?

Yes, but this appears less a bug in the code, than an absence of code.
The program does not automatically allow one to change the settings when
it accesses the wrong information. I looked in the Help section and it
says the program is supposed to alllow this automatically. As
