Public bug reported:

I did upgrade to Ubuntu Intrepid recently. When I try to burn dvd disk
something goes wrong and I get general error from nautilus burning tool.
I can't tell what is exactly wrong - dmesg might be interesting, I also
attached other information (lspci, lshw). Burning CD works fine.
Sometimes after failure with DVD disk (second try with the same disk),
it looks like there was something recorded on it, but the recorded size
doesn't match recorded data - one small file versus thick ring on DVD
disk. I suspect that there's something wrong with dvd recording
software.

uname -a:
Linux sagittarius 2.6.27-4-generic #1 SMP Wed Sep 24 01:29:06 UTC 2008 x86_64
GNU/Linux

hardware:
Benq P52 laptop, amd64, ATI SB400 chipset, sata (1 disk) + pata (1 recorder as
primary master works as emulated scsi) - both work as scsi (sdaX, sr0).

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
