I confirm the first issue on my Intrepid ! It works as expected on a tty
but does not work into my Gnome session. Please note the reisub
combination works well on my Debian Lenny with the Openbox window
manager... Even if I change the key bindings thanks to gnome-keybinding-

I am having the same issue on a Thinkpad R52 running Intrepid. REISUB
brings up multiple screenshot windows under X, but works fine on TTY. My
/proc/sys/kernel/sysrq is set to 1. Thanks.

In my case it is the up-key that acts as printscreen. This means that I
can actually not use the up-key at all. In the console it behaves as
normal.
xev says this, but it might be cluttered by the start of me closing the
print-screen window with alt+f4:
PropertyNotify event, serial 32, synthetic
After update and reboot the up-key says this:
PropertyNotify event, serial 18, synthetic NO, window 0x361,
atom 0x120 (_NET_WM_STATE), time 229252, state PropertyNewValue

atom 0x187 (XKLAVIER_STATE), time 229283, state
I know very well about Fn button.
My SysRq is under Del, and PrtSc in under Ins.
As I mention on the description, on the TTYs it works as expected.

Is this on a notebook computer? Often, you have to press the function
key in conjunction with print-screen and alt to get the sysrq function.
Check your keyboard closely and report back. Thank you for filing a
