Binary package hint: update-manager
I get this error when i try to launch the update manager. E:Encountered
a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with MergeList
/var/lib/dpkg/status, E:The package lists or status file could not be
parsed or opened. any help would be appreciated. using hardy heron 8.04
