Public bug reported:
Booting the beta live CD works fine, but about 20 seconds after the boot
menu appears the PC locks up and the computer becomes completely
unresponsive. While this is happening, I can hear the CPU fan spin up
as though it's under heavy load. Attempting to boot to desktop causes
the lockup to happen immediately.
I'm running AMD64 dual core, 4GB RAM with an nVidia chipset.
