Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy
$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch) Release: 8.10 $ uname -a Linux dirac 2.6.27-4-generic #1 SMP Wed Sep 24 01:29:06 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux $ aptitude show empathy Package: empathy State: installed Automatically installed: no Version: 2.24.0-1ubuntu1 ... Logged in, the buddies showed up in the list, so far so good. Double clicked on one, started typing and empathy died, the telepathy processes were still alive. Happens exactly when I type a space after a word, doesn't matter what keyboard layout I'm using, doesn't mater which protocol is being used (well I tried both gtalk and yahoo). Tested it on the desktop as well, but both computers are pretty identical, they even have mostly the same packages installed. ** Affects: empathy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Empathy crashes when I type a space after a word https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/277712 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
