wine version 1.0 from ubuntu repos
OS: 8.10 amd64 beta
sound in wine is spotty, for example, when playing Diablo II I get sound
during the intro cinematic but not in game, when I run wine in a
terminal I get an error saying that alsa cannot access some part of my
sound system. To sidestep this I tried enabling the other sound drivers
(OSS and JACK) but to no avail. Could this be happening because wine
does not seem to have pulse-audio support?
